Blackmagic Mini Panel

Are the buttons on the Mini panel programmable? There are some mapped functions that aren't useful to me (such as FULL VIEWER) and some important missing functions (such as ADD KEYFRAME and ADD STATIC KEYFRAME). I'd like to be able to re-map some of the buttons.

They are not.

Quite a few people use external macro panels, like the ones made by XKeys or Elgato, and program stored commands and shortcuts not on the control panels. I've done this with Tangent, Avid Artist Color, and the Blackmagic Mini, and in every case, there's at least a dozen or so things that are fast and easy to do with a macro keyboard. It's a great time-saver.

Dwaine, on this subject, can you say anything about the user / fx button functionality on the mini panel? Is there any news in the not so far future about mapping these?
