I third that. So many features on the edit page have made it even better. Love the new visual keyboard mapping which make it so much easier to customise. Glad ‘cmd= ‘ is back for enlarging timeline. Am also glad it asks about changing frame rate again as this screwed me on a little job shot on an iPhone. Well don BMD.

I know BMD's a multinational corporation that's headquartered on the opposite side of the EARTH from me, but sometimes I'm pretty sure that the changes they implement are just too tailored to a request that I made to be coincidental. I know you're listening, guys, and I know you work really hard to make thousands of people like me happy. I just want to say thanks, you're doing a fantastic job. <3 <3 <3

I second that, It seems to me that they are the only big software company that truly listen to their users and want to keep implementing improvements making the software truly outstanding.

Oh thank you so much for the new Keyword Dictionary tool! I have been waiting years to finally delete some mistaken keywords on a project that I am constantly adding to.

Dupe detection also made my day!

Thanks for h.265 exports as well.

Paper takes ink. While I applaud BMD's direction with this product, it has become surprisingly unstable of late and 15.2 is no exception. My hope is that 15.2.1 is not far behind with stability fixes.

Well I find it one of the most stable things I use. For example, compared to Resolve, Prem Pro is a bug-ridden joke IMO. Resolve has minor bugs, be sort of surprising if there weren't in such a complex bit of software but the BMD team seem to listen and fix things pretty quickly. If you get many problems, maybe there could be something in your system that's not quite right. Just a thought.

+1 to the well done sentiments.

I hope for the same.

While the 15.2 update has some great additions, it is still extremely unstable. Audio and Fusion are the top problems.

I haven't used Creative Cloud since 2016 but I have used Premiere for more than a decade in its various incarnations and have never experienced such an unstable software product for professional editing. By that standard, Resolve is much better - but it has a ways to go in my opinion - you would never use Resolve in its present state for long form editing.

I think we've delivered 7 features this year since June, all done on Resolve 15. It can work, but there are some bugs and workarounds to steer clear of. So far, none of them have been dealkillers for me.

Bmd is really brillant. I fall in love with this companu. Why ? Because they listen to us. Our feedback are understood and sometimes taken into account.
Now I would like they'll stop to add New features but concentrate themselves on fix maximum of bugs we listed here. Just for one sprint.

What would you say your biggest issues are at the moment? I'm a sole 'video guy' on staff at a college and am excited to jump away from premiere, but I want to test the waters and do some research first.

I have no big issues with 15 since they went final in anything else but audio or Fusion. I still tend to use Fusion stand-alone for that reason.
But constantly crashing? There must be something wrong with your setup. My longest project in 15 had more than 4 hours. I would never have dared to do that in Premiere!

The only other NLE that is about as stable are some recent versions of FCP-X.

So, my deepest kudos to BM too, especially for a software that runs on all three OSs.
No, an iGPU is not enough, and you can't use HEVC 10 bit 4:2:2 in the free version.

I have had far LESS problems with 15 than 14 on Linux. More stable, less crashes, and quicker response. We will see about 15.2. So far loving 15.

Can't wait till Fusion becomes more stable and faster. And of course being able to set a timeline's framerate and resolution (without having to change the whole project)

I have to say Wow too. Not just for the newest version, but for Resolve free in general. I just had a situation with our church’s sermon video. Our Pastor decided not to use his usual table and stool to sit at, but instead roam the stage. I had to man our usually unmanned, stationary closeup cam and follow him around with the cam on a cheap tripod head. The raw footage was quite jerky. I applied the default stabilization, and BOOM, buttery smooth pans.

Thank you for such a great tool.
