DolbyVision HDR Grade Monitoring

I am trying to grade an HDR project in Dolby Vision HDR Grade mode and currently I use UltraStudio 4K TB2 and unable to sent out both HDR and SDR via Dual SDI Output ports SDI A and SDI B.

Currently planning to purchase UltraStudio 4K Mini. Will this allow both HDR & SDR outputs simultaneously or need to purchase DeckLink 8K Pro or DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G only.

Can blackmagic team clarify?

I have only seen this done on an UltraStudio 4K extreme, not the regular UltraStudio 4K. I assume it may also work on the 8K version, but I'm not certain.

Finaly it works on Ultrastudio 4K Mini. But only issue is how to flag dolby vision metadata tag for LG OLED C9 TV for client viewing? It triggers common HDR but not Dolby Vision?

It's possible now with x265:

I assume you should get Dolby Vision metadata RPU file from Resolve.

Resolve doesn't deliver RPU file, right?

I've read that Dolby Encoding Engine software can convert XML to RPU metadatas. But the software costs a fortune. Any existing alternative?

Thanks.

Don't think so. Dolby is closed system (key math behind it is proprietary, so there are no alternatives to Dolby tools.
There are tools to extract RPU from existing x265 DV file, but not to create it from an XML.
