Individual Clips Render Time goes to infinite

PostMon Jan 20, 2020 6:24 pm

After the first clip the timer gets bigger and bigger. Didn't had any issue till now. Don't know the MacOS Catalina or the latest version of Davinci causing this, but it's ruining my workflow and my time. Can anyone help me about this issue?

In case you are trying to render H.264, try an easier codec like ProRes first. If that doesn’t work, tell us all about your hardware, source format, FX etc.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

Well ProRes turned out fine, but sometimes i need to export H.264. Mostly we shoot XAVC with Sony a7riii, i color them in Davinci, sometimes i use Grain as FX. My mac's specs are,
2,6 ghz Intel Core i7
16 gb 1600 Mhz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2 GB

Thanks for the advice but i still need some solution for H.264!

Your GPU is underpowered.
Use the ProRes 422 HQ you can export and do the encoding to H264 with Handbrake or the like.
