Hi Peter,
Model Name: Mac Pro Model Identifier: MacPro5,1 Processor Name: 6-Core Intel Xeon Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz Number of Processors: 2 Total Number of Cores: 12 L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB L3 Cache (per Processor): 12 MB Memory: 24 GB
Chipset Model: ATI Radeon HD 5770 Type: GPU VRAM (Total): 1024 MB
Ah, you are missing a key component. The GPU thats installed is suitable for UI but not for image processing. Please refer to the config guides for details of the GPU options you can select from. Peter
While it's not a recommended config, I've verified that Resolve V10 will work with just an HD5770 ATI card in the MacPro. So I don't think that's your install error source. Using this card with V10 will have very poor performance, and it doesn't have the recommended minimum VRAM for proper operation.
You do need to install Resolve as a user with Admin privileges. That might explain your install error, which is a very unusual error that I've never seen before.
You also need to be using OSX 10.8.4 or 10.8.5 for that card to work.

Hey Dwaine,
Thanks for the response. I think it my be an OS issue.
I am currently on 10.8.5 and I am having trouble installing .pkg files. I've repaired the disk permissions on my HDD's and I'm using an administrator account.
