That message normally only appears when installing Resolve on a non-Win7 system.

Click the Start menu on your PC and in the "Search programs and files" area at the bottom, enter system info. At the top in the Programs area, select System Information. In the System Summary, what is the listed Locale? And what is the complete Version information shown?

Hi, Resolve for Windows is certified on Win7 Pro. Please refer to the config guides on the BMD support web pages.

Open Windows System Information, as noted in my first message.

On the System Summary page, please look at Item: Version, and give us the info in the Value column.

Please look at Item: Locale and give us the info in the Value column.

If you can't give me the information I requested, I can't really help you. PLEASE look in Windows System Information Summary page. On the right half of the page will be a Item column, and a Value column. Looking in the ROW for the Item named Locale, what is the NAME you see in the Value column?

The Russian Locale is probably the issue. The PostgreSQL database likely won't load with that Locale, and perhaps the Resolve app itself will not like that Locale. The Locale is assumed to be United States. If it's not that, I'm not sure there is a solution. Is it possible for you to change it to United States? If not, perhaps someone else can comment on a possible solution, or not. Or perhaps other Russian users have already run across this and can suggest a solution.

I may be wrong but I'm still leaning towards Win7 Pro, english and if possible USA release, not other versions of win7.
