Clips Not At Beginning When Dragged To Timeline

PostTue May 18, 2021 4:41 pm

I'm a newbie to Davinci Resolve and am totally impressed with what I'm able to do already.

I've noticed that recently when I drag the first clip to the timeline on a new project it gets set at about the 4 second mark and I have to drag it back to the beginning of the timeline.

Have I inadvertently changed a setting somewhere?

My first thought here is Operator Error. You're not dropping it at the beginning.

You might have to zoom in a bit to make that easier.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Nope, I've thought of that and when I drag to the beginning it snaps over to the 4 second mark.

OK.

Nothing else comes to mind. Can you show us?
