Copy/paste OpenFX without overwriting the existing ones?

PostThu May 20, 2021 8:22 am

I am trying to copy an Open FX plugin (drop shadow) from one clip to another. However, the clip that I am trying to copy the effect to already has a plug in on (gaussian blur). When I use the "Paste attributes>Plugins" command it OVERWRITES the open fx plugins that are already there. So it deletes the gaussian blur effect that's already applied on the clip and replaces it with the drop shadow effect. How can I copy the effect from one clip but still keep the effects that are already there?

Might have to take a different approach.

Adjustment Clip or Shared Node maybe.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
