Input box selected in inspector after stabilizing

PostTue Aug 10, 2021 11:29 pm

DaVinci Resolve Studio 17.2.2 Build 4 on Windows 10:

After using stabilizing feature in inspector, input box in inspector is selected. After stabilizing another clip, box selection jumps to next window in inspector. See video:

I'm seeing a slightly different behavior.

Once I hit Stabilize, the stabilization routine runs, then I'm left with the Zoom Y parameter selected.

But the Stabilize button is thereafter greyed out, and can't be used.

Studio 17.2.2 for Windows.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Still present in 18.1.4.

Would be so easy and quick to fix if the company was interested in fixing bugs.

I don't see a problem that an input box gets selected in the Inspector after stabilizing, and yes I see the next box is selected each time. Likely a bug but harmless surely?

Toggle the Camera Lock to re-activate the grayed out Stabilize button. That won't upset anything. After trimming a bit from a stabilized clip, where un-stabilized handles are now exposed I toggle the Camera Lock and can now press Stabilize. A while ago Resolve would have forced re-stabilization of all of the timeline clip but now it's just a quick flash, as the broken section is intelligently and speedily "repaired"!
