Newbie question re Davinci/Blackmagic and Audio Sync

PostSat Nov 02, 2013 4:17 pm

Hi,
I've recently used the Blackmagic Cinema Camera for the first time with dual audio Capture and recording in Raw format.
I've just downloaded the Lite Version of Davinci Resolve with the purpose of transcoding Blackmagic DNG files to Prores for Final Cut 7 editing.
I've set the project frame rates to match before importing the media as I read elsewhere.
The problem is that I'm having no luck being able to sync the files.
The really confusing thing is that the camera audio is way longer than the exported ProRes file which just makes no sense to me at all.

Shouldn't the camera audio file be the same length as the converted video?
Even when I manually line up the files they get radically out of sync very quickly.

Any tips?
