Color grading P3 DCI ACES

PostTue Nov 09, 2021 8:38 pm

Hi,

We are going to grade a film with those settings.
DaVinci Resolve 17.3.2 Build 8.
Footage: Sony Venice X-OCN LT 6054x3272 24 fps.
Projet: 2048x858
Color science: DaVinci YRGB
Timeline color space: ACEScct

I have added a Group Post-Clip : ACES Transform
ACES Version: ACES 1.1
Input transform: CSC- ACEScct
Output transform: P3-DCI (D65 sim)

For this project I made a playback on a projector Christie with a white point in 6300 kelvin and not 6500 kelvin. Unfortunatly I can't change the white point of my projector.

So is the setting of the output transform correct?

When we grade a film without ACES mode, we floow thos settings:
Projet: 2048x858
Color science: DaVinci YRGB
Timeline color space: P3-DCI.

Whay can't I find in the list of the Output transform the setting P3-DCI?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards,
