Hi there,
We are trying to install CentOS 6.4 as per given instructions in linux configuration guide, but not success.
Following the simple steps given in the guide,
1) As per Step 3, Entering the The exact command line written in the configuration guide "/mnt/Resolve_DVD/copy_postinstall_files.sh/RHEL_RESOLVE_DVD.iso" ,
2) Entering the above command getting an error "Not a Directory"
3) We removed the "/" from just before "RHEL_RESOLVE_DVD.iso" (which is the name of the iso file which going to be created), So i thought the "/" is a typo error and entered the command "/mnt/Resolve_DVD/copy_postinstall_files.sh RHEL_RESOLVE_DVD.iso"
4) As soon as ran the command without "/" the ISO image file creation initiated and within few minutes it get completed and we found the ISO file named "RHEL_RESOLVE_DVD.iso" in "RHEL_IMAGE" folder (from where we ran the command).
5) We Burned the "RHEL_RESOLVE_DVD.iso" image file on DVD, and continue to the next step.
6) The dvd got booted and the installation process has been started and Black magic Davinci Resolve 9.1.1 installation menu appeared, we select the "Option 1" (Gui Installation).
7) After a little while the we got the strange error message pop up
"DISK NOT FOUND"
The Centos disc was not found in any of CDROM drives. Please insert the CentOS disc and press OK to try"
OK - BACK
Please find attached image for the reference.
We are really in a fix and have film project in hand, we need to run the Davinci Resolve on CentOS 6.x as we are using Areca 1882 Series Raid Controller and will use XFS file system with 32TB internal storage.
Your immediate reply is highly appreciated.
waiting impatiently
