Modify template

PostSat Oct 08, 2022 6:30 pm

Is there a way to modify a Fusion template without having to select every time each value that i want included in my template? Right now, if i need to modify one of my preset, i open it in Fusion, i make my modifications, i select all my nodes and right click/create macro. But then, the value that i had previsously selected when i first created my template are not there anymore and i have to reselect every one of them again, change the value names again,... In a template that includes dozens of values, it's absurdly time consuming for every little modifications. Is there a better way?

If you're just modifying the default values in an existing template then you only need to make those changes (to the template, in Fusion) then right click the template and choose Settings > Save As... and save it to the required templates folder.

Try right-clicking and choosing Create Macro, but then when the window opens up, click File>Open then find your template and open it. You should see all of your chosen values and you can add a new one then save it to the same place.

One problem i just discovered. When i open a template in the macro editor and save it, i loose all my versions. Is there a way around it?
