When you get a .DRP from somewhere with embedded LUTs, only the machine that originally imported the DRP has access to the LUT all other machines throw an error , windows or mac doesnt matter.

Update, I guess the way to go here is to have a shared lut folder as default lut folder on a server, as it imports the lut striaght into the default folder not into a "additional Lut folder" right?
