Hello!
So, my band just released a new video.
I'm tasked with cutting it up into smaller 15s segments for social teaser posts to be uploaded in the coming weeks, pointing people to the full video on Youtube.
Now, I've done the cutting but I suspect there's a better way.
The way I did it was:
- In the edit page, I Ctrl+B'd at 15s, then SHIFT+RIGHT ARROW'd fifteen times (as each press is a one second jump, right). Rinse and repeat.
- Then, in the Deliver page, I press I for In point, down arrow for next cut point, O for out, name that clip, click "Add to Render Queue". Rinse and repeat.
I suspect there's a better way, where I create a new timeline for each clip and then bring all timelines into one extra timeline and then on deliver I tick "Individual clips" like this guy points out
.
I'm just missing a way to generate new timelines from clips... Any thoughts here?
Because now I have the 15s clips all cut.
My next step now will be to add animations to intro and outro, each lasting 2.5s to have the videos be 20s.
So... Timeline template with the intro/outro (since they're all the same) right?
And then pull in each clip and deliver.
Also sounds tedious. Any way to optimize this part?
