transform affects tracks bellow

PostThu Jan 12, 2023 10:51 pm

Hello guys, so i have a problem that i hope you'll be able to help me with !

I will upload some picture to let you understand best but here is my trouble :

I am trying to supress a greenscreen on a product photography in order to place it in the middle of a choosen land.

When I decide to resize the green screen picture no problem. BUT When i go to color, after using qualifier and supressing the green screen all the tracks below / beneath the green screen one get affected by the transformation leading to a black screen if I downsize the green picture, which i would like to do. PS: i only happen when alpha output in linked to the green picture.

I dunno if i explain well but i hope that you do understand, at least with the attachments.

If someone is willing to help me, by advance thanks a lot to him

Have a great day everybody.

how are you doing the keying? inside of color? in the edit page? in fusion?

if you grade footage it is possible to overwrite the alpha. therefore you'd need to right click and select add alpha out. then plug the correct alpha there.

resolve tends to do funky things with the borders of a clip when you scale it. Those are my guesses why it behaves that way

If you are doing the Green Screen removal in the Color page, make sure to connect the source to the blue input of the node as well.

Hello, sorry for the delay been quite busy lately.

I am using the color page + qualifier, the touble was that i did right click and output alpha but I did not connected the input node as well as the videos i watched did not mention it. Thank to each of you for your time !

If anyone is experiencing the same thing this was the answer:
