Final export has error pixels

PostTue Jan 17, 2023 4:41 am

Please help me.

I'm trying to export a video but the final output has these blocks of pixels in which I don't understand. Decoding error? Rendering Error? I don't know. The funny thing is these error pixels appear on the same time of the video.

I've encircled the error pixels...I don't know what they are called and I've been trying to mingle with the settings since yesterday but still I don't understand the problem here.

This is the first time this has happened to me and I'm on a tight schedule.

What's your hardware?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Mpeg4 export out of Resolve has proved dodgy over the years.

I would encourage you to export only dnxhr and then use a proper h264/5 tool like handbrake if you need a compressed file.

And the obligatorily; make sure all drivers are up to date. Reboot, try again.

Second that. And then, make sure that black and white values are not outside of video range. Did you generate these outside of DR?
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.
