Frame interpolation issues

Hi there.
I'm using v17 and when active this settings automatically affect to all my footage in timeline, even I didn't apply any retime process.
That's they way that setting has to work? Or it is an issue?

It affects most clips that have different frame rate compared to your Project/Timeline (There are some exceptions for some clips with higher frame rate, for example 50fps or 100fps clips on a 25fps timeline are not affected)

The strange thing here is that when I active the frame interpolation process it is working on my 25fps footage (witch it's used for multicam and real action).
Maybe it's working over 50fps footage but I can assume that, but not on multicamera.
