Not sure what you are really asking and intending to do especially with such broad statement as “can you make money”, but if it was me, I wouldn’t trust the general user population’s answer here because we are not employees or representatives of BMD. You might want to contact BMD directly before you get into some legal challenges later. Good luck.

There are no restrictions in regards to commercial use of the free product (as far as I am aware). I used the free version for a couple of months to make videos for my monetized YouTube channels but I'm old-school so I figured that if I'm making money it was ethically responsible to pay for the tools I used in that process.

As a result, I bought the Stuidio version over three years ago and have been very happy with that purchase. Davinci Resolve Studio and Fusion Studio have paid for themselves many times over and the extra features you get in the Studio versions have turned out to be remarkably useful (to me).

The free version doesn't have any restrictions for commercial use, it's been confirmed by BMD multiple times. Here's one recent thread: https://forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=161971

The question has been asked many times and answered by employees of BMD.
