Tagging MXF audio tracks in Resolve export for Broadcast

PostMon Mar 13, 2023 5:49 pm

Hello, I'm delivering some short films to PBS and their delivery spec states that the stereo audio be on tracks 1 and 2 and that it should be 'tagged.' They have requested no slate at the start. I really can't figure out how to tag the audio in resolve. Does anyone have any idea how I could pull this off?

Here are the specs

Video:

MXF OP1a Self Contained - MPEG2 XDCAM HD422

Audio:

These are arranged in pairs and tagged as follows:

1-2          Stereo PCM
3-4          Surround Front
5-6          Surround C/LFE
7-8          Surround Rear
9-10       Surround side (7.1)
11-12     SAP
13-14        DVI

Thanks for the help with this. I'm stumped at this point.

Only the Audio tab of the IMF preset on the deliver page provides MCA Content and Element Kind definitions and automatically assigns the audio channel numbering based on the MCA sound field group.
