Resolve Lite Quits

I have installed Resolve 10 Lite on Windows 7. I am using just for testing purpose. It has 4gb DDR3 RAM..No video card yet. I loaded a 20mb Quicktime file in the library folder. While importing I can see the file but the moment I click the file, the whole application closes / exits ? Im not sure if Resolve accepts jpeg file or not. But I tried to import a single high res jpeg file, and again the moment I clicked the whole application closed down. Please advise the solution.

Resolve will not run properly without a supported graphics device installed.

If you have a supported graphics card:
you might want to make sure, if your motherboard has on board graphics, that it is disabled.
