Is there Resolve Lite for Linux?

PostThu Feb 06, 2014 4:16 pm

I was thinking of building a linux box to play with REsolve lite on...but I don't see it as a downloadable option.

Looking at the Linux options, there are 2 in the final drop down:
Davinci Resolve
Davinci Resolve Linux License

I clicked on both and don't see what the difference really is. Reading through the configuration guide, it mentiones a dongle, etc...

Anyway, is there a Lite version of Davinci Resolve for Linux? Seems it would be a given with the Open Source OS to run a Lite version.

Thanks in advance,

Goodness...that's sad.

Hey BM folks, any plans to make a Lite Linux version? Since the operating system is open source, it seems it would be a natural for ya'll to make a Lite version for.....

[Hint, Hint]

:)

Thank you,

The Linux version is only available with our grading panels. If you also review the config guides.. the OS costs are the smallest component of the total. Try the Mac or Windows Lite.
