Resolve 10, crashes, crashes, and more crashes!

PostMon Mar 03, 2014 5:56 am

Hi all,

I just updates to Mavericks, got an GTX card, and installed Resolve 10, but I'm having some problems with it. Now, I'm only working with 8gb of RAM at the moment, and need to add more, but I'm not sure RAM is the culprit. I've had it crash a few times seemingly at random, but every time I attempt to import an AAF, I get the beach ball of death. I've attached the (long) crash report from the last attempt, for anyone who can interpret those things. My system is:

2008 Mac Pro 3,1
8 gb RAM
ATI Radeon 2600XT for UI
GeForce GTX 660 and cuda 5.5.3
OSX 10.9.1 Mavericks
DaVinci Resolve 10.1.2
Decklink Mini Monitor and the Desktop Video package that came on the disc with it.
Tangent Wave
Avid Media Composer 7.0.3
A bunch of hard drives.

Any insight would be most appreciated. Thanks!

-Patrick

Happen to me today, I found a workaround, first inport all media files in the media pool, after this import AAF FIles.
Mac Studio - 32GB RAM - 32GPU CORE
NVME RAID
DaVinci Resolve Studio 18.5
MacOs 12.6
BM mini Monitor 3G
