Resolve: Preconform Source TC and Reel Issues

When I bring in a preconformed EDL, the source TC is not being imported correctly. The record TC seems to be used in both columns.

However, when in the color tab, the TC seems to be correct:

But. when using ColorTrace from one preconformed sequence to another, the reel name is empty (see reply below)

The EDL was generated from Media Composer 6.5 and used the "file 32" template. I've tried CMX and attempted to convert the reel names to numbers with no luck. Any ideas why this might be happening? I've tried every permutation of settings in Resolve and I still get the same result.

Hi, r u on 10.1.2?

I'm still on 10.1.1. If you think the issue will be fixed with that update, I'll give it a try and follow up with the results.

10.1.2 is an improvement. Unfortunately, it still isn't solving the problem.

When I attempt to color trace a sequence, I can see the reel name listed. However, the source column is completely blank.

I attempted to ColorTrace the exact same sequence from on project to another and got red boxes for each of the clips. I tried turning off the settings for "sort using reel name" and "automatically match master timeline with the media pool" hoping that it would have some effect. I also attempted to use a version of the EDL that converted the reel names to numbers. Neither helped the situation.

I know that the ColorTrace changed from 10.0 - 10.1. Do you think it's worth it to roll back to an earlier version? If I do, will my current databases be compatible?
