DNG RAW files from samsung smartphone shows as Media Offline

PostTue Mar 19, 2024 1:24 am

I have a Samsung S22 Ultra and videos and photos captured in RAW are saved as DNG. When you try to add them to the Media Poll, they appear as Media Offline.

Is there any solution?

Unfortunately, DNG files from a few cameras are incompatible. You could try the free DNG Converter from Adobe.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

Could it be that the DNG's are storing as linear DNG's, and not RAW Sensor Data?

I received this message from support:

"Thank you for the requested information, I have confirmed that the Samsung Raw is not compatible with Resolve, while DNG is supported, the underlying Codec (Samsung or Expert RAW) is not currently compatible, I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
