Resolve issues with directories (Linux Mint)

Hello, I am having an issue with Resolve simply unable to display or show any directories outside of the root or home directories. This issue happens while selecting a project or project library. If I wanted to add or change a project library to a different hard drive and I try to select the location for it to be it only shows my root and home directories.





This also happens when I go to the Media tab and try to add locations on the upper leftmost panel.

I'm not sure why it does this and I haven't seen any instance of this with a google search. I wanted to see if I would be able to try out Resolve in Linux and I'd be able to work on my projects on my external hard drive but it's just not showing any other directories for some reason.
