Imported Clip - length is wrong

Hello

I have just notice when I import a clip the length of the clip is wrong and this is causing issue with my overlay.

Clip should be 25:03 and Resolve is showing it as 25:01

I tested with Capcut and everything imports just fine.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Yes I notice that, only wanted to include one picture.

Using - Resolve 18.6 Studio

If use capcut everything lines up correctly, so which makes me Davini is doing something I can't figure out.

Probably the other software is treating it as 24 fps. DR can be set to either speed for the timeline, but only before editing a clip into it.

I tried setting Project Manager to 30fps with no change. Is there something else I can try?

Checking the source clip, the time matches the duration your asking about if you set the rate to 24fps.

In this matter, Resolve is displaying the fractional timecode duration, 23.976 time, in the same manner as other editors and QT player, different to the absolute time shown in Media info.

How can I fix this so Clip A and Clip B match up with Davinci?

EDIT: I think I figured it out.. Not sure if I did it right I increase the clip to 24frames on the timeline.. If there easier way please let me know.

What is your final delivery?
You can conform your clips all at the same time by selecting them and changing the Clip Attributes. Easier than fiddling around in the timeline.

How can I fix this so Clip A and Clip B match up with Davinci?

Go into Clip Attributes and make sure both clips have the exact same speed. If your project is 24fps, make them both exactly 24.00fps. If your project is 23.98fs (which is more common), make them both exactly 23.98fps.

These differences in speed are what we've traditionally called "drop/non-drop" problems, which basically refer to how individual frames are counted in time. It can make a huge different with long shows and when you have to precisely sync picture with sound: if one is drifting 1 or 2 frames every minute, eventually it winds up to be an enormous difference over time.
