problem working with 10GB ethernet in Davinci Resolve 10

PostWed Mar 12, 2014 1:20 pm

Hi there,

We updated the desktop driver 10 and Davinci resolve 10.1.2 but system become very unstable and ystem getting freeze and very low FPS.

After tried multiple tries and combinations we ended up on our previous combination. Desktop 9.8 and davinci resolve 10.1.1 .

On Desktop 10 and Resolve 10.1.2 We are having serious problem like, Often Slow FPS playback, Slow FPS in rendering and "Freeze" , 0 Fps" in rendering out.. Its more often happening with RED RAW footage, and often with Alexa Log-C footage as well specially small clips (few seconds clips) as we work for mostly TV commercials.

Storage tested with BMD speed test utility and having more then enough read write and passing all the BMD speedtest parameters from 8bit to 12bit.

System Specs,

Supermicro certified system
Davinci resolve control pannel
Davinci Resoolve 10.1.2
Desktop 10
2 Red rocket cards (latest firmware and drivers)
Atto 10Gbase-T Ethernet (connected P2P with storage box)
24 drive external storage on windows 7 64bit, Directed connected to Atto 10GB Ethernet NIC card.
Quadro K5000 GUI (updated drivers)
Cubix Desktop 16
2 GTX 690 in cubix (updated drivers)
