Davinci Resolve 10.1.3 Lite Version14 keeps crashing

Hey guys just hoping or a bit of help, Davinci works fine initially on a brand new project no trouble at all, the problem comes after i save and close Davinci down... when reopening on projects it crashes/shuts down immediately, or it will open and work until i start scrolling through the media on the colour page, then it shuts down. My CUDA driver is version 5.5.47 and i'm on OSX 10.9.2 on a "27" 2013 iMac, 32gb Ram, Nvidia Geforce GTX 680 MX 2gb grading around 3 and a half minutes of 1920x720 DNG files. hope to hear from u soon... In Resolve Preferences - Video I/O and GPU, set the GPU processing mode to CUDA and save the preferences and restart Resolve. That may help.

I can't even start 10.1.3 on my new MacPro 6 core 2 x D700 OS 10.9.2. Went back to version 10.1 and that is working

My guidance was not for a new MacPro. It was specifically for the OP's system.

If you have a nMP 6,1 system, and you install Resolve 10.1.3, you need to make sure CUDA 5.5.28 is installed, and NOT the current 5.5.47. If 5.5.47 CUDA is installed, Resolve 10.1.3 will not launch.

You can download CUDA 5.5.28 here:

Once you've downloaded it, just install it. You do not need to uninstall anything first.

And DO NOT do what I told the OP to do. On a nMP, do NOT set the GPU processing mode to CUDA, leave it set to Auto.

Do not set the Resolve GPU processing mode to CUDA unless you are SURE you have an NVIDIA GPU.

Hi, I have a similar issue with the full version of DaVinci Resolve 10.1.3

I was working with about 3.5 minutes of 4K Red footage, colored it, exported it 1920x1810. Client wanted revision, I went back and was retweaking the blacks when DaVinci crashed and crashed my iMac. I went ahead and repaired my iMac. I read something about installing the latest version of NVIDIA CUDA being bad, so I removed a dozen or so files regarding CUDA that I found on another Blackmagic forum.

But my DaVinci Resolve isn't even opening up now.

Any advice would be appreciated it!

Processor: 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 32GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB
Running on OS X 10.9.5 Mavericks
