Hello everyone,
I’ve got a big issue with DaVinci Resolve Lite 10.1.5 running on my brand new Mac Pro Late 2013.
The problem shows mainly when in the color tab I play DNG clips, the software hangs after a while (but never at the same time) leaving the system unstable in an inconsistent state: I can click the other clips but cannot playback; I can click around the other tabs but the functionalities does not react properly.
I can exit Resolve forcing quit, but I cannot execute anything else or even shutdown the Mac Pro.
I can only unplug and replug the power cord to make my Mac Pro boot again.
I tried to force OpenCL computation due to the fact my Mac has only AMD GPUs (quitting and reopening Resolve as required), w/o any results.
I brought back my Mac Pro to the Apple Technicians in my town as recommended by Italian Apple technical support because we thought it was a hardware related problem, but they didn’t find any hardware issues.
Is this problem related to the Lite version I am using? If so, please let me know how to buy the retail one.
Please help me to sort out this issue because I have urgent working needs.
Below you will find my Hardware Configuration.
