PostTue Jun 03, 2014 1:46 am

Hello I've recently built a computer for my studio and i was wondering if it is strong enough for Resolve 11

Cpu : Amd Fx 4100(quad)
Motherboard : Asus Sabertooth 990fx R1.0
Ram : 16gb Corsair Dominator 1600
Video : Geforce GTX 550Ti

Thanks kindly,

You should be able to use the guidelines for the current Resolve build that you can find here.

It depends on what you intend to try and do with resolve, but first thing is that your GPU is very underpowered, it only has 192 Cuda cores, and the CPU is also quite low powered, it equivalent to a mid range Intel i5.
I'd try out Resolve 10 and see what you get out of that. If it performs poorly then you know you need to upgrade

Per the Config guide, we only support Intel CPUs.
