Well, that sucks. Can't run Resolve 10 now

PostThu Jun 26, 2014 1:47 pm

So, I had v.10 of Resolve installed on my MacPro and was running it with no problems.

I decided to download and try v.11 but when I went to run it it informed me that I needed OS 10.8 installed.

Which I can't do on my older MacPro.

So, I tried to go back to v.10 and after i installed it and started the app up it crashed. Ran the uninstaller/rebooted and tried again but same thing.

Now I'm stuck with no Resolve and unless I buy a new mac I'm out of luck.

It now says:
Minimum system requirements for Macintosh
Mac OS X 10.8.5 Mountain Lion

How was I able to run previously when I'm on OS 10.7.5 ?

You were using something earlier than Resolve 10.1.5 before. Starting with Resolve 10.1.5, Resolve requires CUDA 6. OSX Mountain Lion (10.8.5) is the earliest OSX version that supports CUDA 6.

That explains things. Is there any way to download the earlier version that would work on my system until I can upgrade?

Can I download the full version or do the lite installers become full versions with the USB dongle?

They are separate installers, so if you want the full version you need to download the full installer
