Resolve 9.0.3 lite 009 XML not importing to FCPX 10.0.6

Export from FCPX to Resolve worked fine. Graded the project. Rendered. Exported fcpxml 1.2. Import XML file into FCPX fails -- error message is:

Element project content does not follow the DTD, expecting (resources , (sequence | (clip | audition | mc-clip | ref-clip)*)), got

Looking for a fix -- hopefully one that will not lose my 2 days of grading work.

First render out all clips AGAIN.
Then export XML 1.0 (for FCP X)
Close Da Vinci. Open FCPX import XML.
Check clips with speed changes in timeline.
