NVidia Quadro K2000 - No CUDA Acceleration Hardware Detected

PostSat Aug 09, 2014 12:17 pm

Hi,

I've got an HP z420 workstation with a Quadro k2000. I use it for Avid Media Composer on Windows 7 (x64) Pro, so the system is a bit fussy about what nvidia driver I can use to use.

I've installed the Avid certified nvidia driver (331.65), and resolve 11. I've installed the CUDA toolkit from nVidia.

When I boot up Resolve I get a 'No Cuda Acceleration Hardware Detected' error, and Resolve crashes when I try to load any media.

Can anyone help?

That's because the Avid certified driver does not support CUDA 6, which Resolve 10.1.5 and newer requires. The oldest driver that supports CUDA 6 is 334.89. So you need to use at least that driver version or newer, for Resolve 11 to run under Windows.
