Hi there,

We are tested 2 windows stations which are working good in collaboration (shared storage and database) mode, But unfortunately we are not able to connect/collaborate windows and linux (davinci unable to find shots as the project was created on windows) as we are not able to find the option of "path Mapping" in Linux configuration utility (which is out of the Davinci resolve software).
We tried creating a project/import footage on linux station and map the path on windows station and collaboration works and all the shots found.

Here is the config we are using

- Shared storage (on windows connected with 10gb ethernet), "D" drive exported/shared.
- Mounted on 1st Windows station as drive letter "S"
- Mounted on Linux station (through fstab) as "mnt/s"
- Map the linux path in Media storage in windows like "mnt/s"

Created a projects on linux and mapping worked for windows, But not working other way round as unable to find where to configure "map path" in linux.

unfortunately there is not enough help in manual and looking for help impatiently as we are working on a short deadline project in collaboration and want to use linux.

Thanks in advance

Currently, there is no GUI for this on Linux. However, you can add a mapping in the "Advanced" section of "Resolve Configurator"

Site.1.FS.1.MappedRoot = C:\
Site.1.FS.2.MappedRoot = D:\

Map the first filesystem to C:\, and second one to D:\

Thank you Rohit for your reply,
I tried to follow your instruction and tried multiple syntax but no success but i am not sure where am i doing mistake... please can you clarify your syntax components? i tried the following without success

Your instructions,
Site.1.FS.1.MappedRoot = C:\
Site.1.FS.2.MappedRoot = D:\

Map the first filesystem to C:\, and second one to D:\

I tried four syntaxes (Linux Resolve)
==================
A) //192.20.2.191/d.cifs./mnt/ntserver_e = D:\
B) /mnt/ntserver_d=D:\
C) //192.20.2.191/d.1.cifs.1./mnt/ntserver_d = D:\
D) //192.20.2.191/d cifs /mnt/ntserver_e = D:\

Windows Shared Storage
================
My windows storage ip is "//192.20.2.191/" and shared drive is "D"
Mounted on linux box (via fstab) as "/mnt/ntserver_d"

Windows Resolve
==========
We give the following syntax on windows resolve
mount "D:\" , and Mount mapping "/mnt/ntserver_d"

Your support is highly appreciated

Try typing in

Site.1.FS.1.MappedRoot = C:\
Site.1.FS.2.MappedRoot = D:\
