Adding a node causes CRASH

High i am running yosemite with davinci 11.1 and whenever i create a node of any kind, the programs just closes, no warning nothing it just closes down. any ideas? ive tried reinstalling and everything, davinci resolve lite, even works fine but full version will not allow me to creat nodes.

You should probably post a list of all your hardware to see if that helps shed some light on the cause.

each time add a node it simply quit without any message.
I also tried different file formats but the results is always the same.
Any help?
