Resolve with NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M

PostTue Dec 02, 2014 9:37 pm

Hi

I'm trying to run Resolve on my Dell XPS 15.

Intel Core i7-4712HQ CPU @ 2.30GHz
NVIDIA GeForce 750M
16GB Ram

But I keep getting that dreaded 'no openCL acceleration hardware detected' error message after which it crashes.

It's as f it's not seeing the graphics card...

I bought this computer to run resolve after reading that it will work with this graphics card.

Any help?

Try adding the following in Resolve under 'Preferences', 'Advanced'

LsManager.3.NumGPUs = 1
LsManager.3.GPUMapping = 0
LsManager.3.GPUMappingEnable = 1
Local.GPU.Mode = CUDA

Although it should work the GPU is quite low powered for Resolve so don't expect to much from it

You also may need to update you GPU driver

I know it wont be powerful. I just want it for training purposes.

I tried adding those lines to 'Preferences, 'Advanced' but it didn't help

Do you have any other suggestions?

Make sure you are running at least NVIDIA driver 334.89.

If that's not it, run C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\CaptureLogs.bat and post the .zip file that gets placed on your desktop.

Sorry, Ignore that!

I downloaded NVIDIA driver 334.89. That seems to have fixed it!

Thanks a lot!
