How to Disable all color grades ?

PostSun Jan 04, 2015 8:46 pm

Hello,

I'm using Resolve now for all my editing. I want to start color grading while the log version is at my client for review.

When everything is graded, my timeline obviously gets very slow when I want to make any changes later on.

Is there a way to disable all color grades at once in the editing timeline, so I can still edit fluently and get them back when I want to finish?

Kind regards,

Yes, the procedure is outlined on page 668 of the manual under "Disabling Nodes" in the Advanced Color Features section.

Perrone, I think he want to disable [all the nodes] in [all the shots] of the timeline with a click (or two) of the pen...

Exactly. Does this kind of feature exist?

Oh I see. I was thinking that Option-D would work but that's on a per-shot basis. or per-track basis depending on how you built the nodes. Maybe if you built a group that had all the shots in it and did a disable all nodes it would work? Not sure.

I thinnk that it will disable the [group] nodes but not the [shot] nodes...

Shift D.

page 669…

…which i've found also helps a lot when adding tracking and windows to grades that are heavily bogged down by NR and such. Disable grades, add tracking/windows, re-enable :)

Thanks Tom, i went and re-read the manual. I'm not in front of the resolve to check it out but it is much more clear...

I fount it at page 666, (weird) is the resolve 11 manual june 2014 edition (YMMV).

[menu]::[View]::[Bypass All Grades] ---- {or Shift-D as suggested}
