Take selector seems like an awesome way to sync stuff together for edits like music videos but it sucks that you have to still sync things up manually.
I'm not very familiar with the feature, so maybe there is a way, but, is it possible to make a take selector clip/group right inside the timeline ?
It seems like it only works with clips from the media pool at the moment.
It would be nice to , for example, be able to bring in an xml from something like plural eyes (since resolve doesnt do multicam sync yet) and be able to select these synced files and group them into "take selections" in the same manner as you would convert them into compound clips.
This way you can consolidate tracks down into just a few and gain some much needed screen real estate as well as make things easier for editing.
Any thoughts?
