Performance with a monitor lut

PostTue Jul 21, 2015 2:39 pm

Hi all.
I'm having problems calibrating my dreamcolor monitor with de APS solution, it seems a little green in the blacks.

So, I want to correct that with a 3d lut, and configure it in the monitor lut inside Davinci Resolve.
I question is, when I do that, it impacts on the performance of Resolve?

Thanks all

I'm not convinced you can correct for the flaws in a Dreamcolor display. Panel consistency and other problems don't make it an ideal grading monitor.

There's lots of discussion about this issue over on the LiftGammaGain group:

The sad reality is that you get what you pay for, and true Grade 1 monitors are not cheap.
