Is this just a beta thing or will it continue to act like v11? Realtime playback is a necessity for editing and was really hoping it had been fixed in this version. Getting great playback in Color, even with several nodes, but nothing but stops and stutters in Edit.
For reference :
- 4K UHD timeline
- ProRes 444 UHD footage
- Sony RAW 4k DCI footage
- 2013 Mac Pro 6 Core D700s and 64GB RAM
The example videos show smooth playback in Edit and I can't figure out how they got there, unless its all 1080p and below.
