They can be used on tracks but there is a very nonintuitive way to do it and don't appear in the inspector unless you click a very specific spot.
You'd think you could drag from the FX list to the tracks in the mixer and the FX button on the track would show you what's there. Nope!
Instead you have to toggle a view on the tracks in the editor.
It was in the manual at least.
Once the effects are there you can't change the order.
As an audio guy it makes no sense to me but kinda gives me an idea of how video guys think about audio...
Seems so obvious. Hopefully they'll improve this.
I recommend doing the audio processing in a DAW to spare the headache. I use REAPER.
