Tangent Wave transport buttons

PostMon Aug 24, 2015 11:46 pm

I don't know if Tangent or Blackmagic is responsible for the button mapping on the Tangent Wave panel -- but could someone please make the three transport buttons work like the J-K-L keys -- so that you can go faster or slower? Annoying to have to jump back to the keyboard just for transport controls.

This has been requested before, Jeff. I'd like to see this done in the Avid MC Panel as well.

Thanks, Marc.

Does anyone else find the "inching knob" on the Tangent wave to be pretty hopeless? It lacks the ballistics that better control devices have. I always end up going to the keyboard arrows....

Big +1 for both of these suggestions… I find checking for scene continuity in long form is easier and more efficient at 2x speed.
