Linux Resolve password window

PostTue Sep 01, 2015 12:17 pm

Hi,

today i accidentally changed the permissions on the resolve home folder.
Now as soon as i try to open Resolve a window pops up that asks for the resolve@localhost's password.
It doesn't matter if i enter the password or click on cancel, the window pops up like every 5 to 10 seconds!!

What can i do about that? Can i change the permissions back to something specific or did some file get overwritten where that password was stored?

Help would be very appreciated because its driving me insane...

Regards,
Thomas

Do you know exactly what you did? Did you recursively change permissions on that path, i.e. was a -R involved?

hey,

i changed the permissions with chmod 777 -R and applied it to the resolve folder instead of one in it...
