edit question

PostThu Sep 17, 2015 10:47 pm

I have a sequence of edited clips (selected edit points in and out) layed out on a timeline that i would like to move into a bin. Is this possible? I cant find any way to move the clips from the timeline to a bin. This is a simple click drag drop in premiere.

well, I'd like to drop the clips selected from the timeline into a bin retaining the in and out points set from the main clip not necessarily trimmed off like seperate subclips. Either way would work I guess, right now im copy pasting from one timeline to another..

Im trying to stay away from subclips because resolve goes absolutely haywire the bigger and more complex my project gets when using them.

You could make a compound clip of every shot, which will put each clip in the browser, but like Resolve subclips, they won't have handles.

The only place to move clips into a bin is in the Media Page, not the Edit Page. You can drop timelines into other timelines, so that might be a potential workaround depending on what you're trying to do.
