Resolve crashing regularly

Resolve 12 repeatedly crashes when doing non GPU intensive tasks such as dragging media onto the timeline, rearranging clips, etc. I can occasionally get 10 minutes of basic editing done before it quits without any warning (there is no spinning beach ball, it just quits).

I have attached the crash log to this post.

Would appreciate any help with this.

I suspect El Capitan is the culprit.

We haven't announced support for that yet.

It might also be the fact you using a Resolve beta version.

Or both.

But it's probably El Capitan.

I'm getting the same problem on Yosemite and with Resolve 12.0.1

There doesn't appear to be any solution.. I've tried reinstalling resolve as well as the Nvidia drivers, I've made sure only the discrete GPU is being used and running no other apps.

I still get regular crashes simply by moving clips around.

It appears that you have an audio plugin called AudioToolbox that is causing the issue.

Try removing that, and see if things behave better.

Removed the audio plugin. Still crashing, however slightly less frequently, editing can last up to 5 minutes before a crash.

I've attached the logs again to see if anything else can be identified.

Just to clarify, there was a VST plugin installed which I removed. I did some research and found that AudioToolbox is a core audio framework in OS X and can't be removed. Just to confirm this I did a system wide file search and found the file 'AudioToolbox.framework' - as expected, the system prevents it from being deleted. I also used Resolve in a guest account to see if it was an issue with some user installed plugin on my system and encountered the same crashing behavior.
