Resolve 12 & QuickTime Version ???

My question is under PC / Windows

When installing Resolve 12 and (if the system has not previously installed, QuickTime Player.) Resolve 12 installer package includes and installs QuickTime version 7.7.4

The last version (today), is Quick Time player 7.7.8.

If I use Resolve 12 with QuickTime Player 7.7.8, maybe could have problems (performance, stability, etc.), ???

I followed what is on the web:

and I now have the version 7.7.8 but it works well:
1) to being Administrator
2) user turns off UAC
3) I had left active Kasperky but he said nothing. Good point.

Those seen AVID forum, other people have also followed this type of installation.

Until quicktime redo a new installer (which blocks he seems ... not to mention the war or apple strategy towards windows(!))

The Version 7.7.8 brought me a stable management DHXHR or PRORES in 4.4.4. To be continued...

And it works well with Media Composer 8.4.x too. Hope it lasts

My question is only about using the latest version of QuickTime with Resolve 12 maybe somebody can have problems or not.

Just today new version of Resolve, 12.0.1.

I will install to check which version of QuickTime includes.

We can play .MOV ? It is compatible with all formats like QuickTime installer from Apple site ?
