DaVinci 11 crashes when conforming to CONSOLIDATED clips

I'm working on Davinci Resolve 11.2.1 Lite, with .R3D (Red) footage, brought in as an AAF from Avid. I have consolidated my clips, and saved them into a new folder at the root of my drive. Now when I try to conform my timeline to these trimmed/consolidated clips, Resolve crashes. Is there in the workflow that I'm missing?

I had the same problem on an AAF. It seemed to be unsupported effects that were not taken out of the avid file before it was sent to me. I forget which ones, but I remember them as compositing effects. I had to manually go in and copy and paste attributes from clips that had no effects to the new clips, which seemed to clear whatever leftover metadata was still in my timeline.

Version 12 (Mac Pro) worked better than 11 (linux) in the end, as it didn't seem to have as many problems with the metadata, or perhaps just cleared out the metadata that it couldn't use. I think I gave up on 11, and just went to 12.
