Cannot Full Screen

I just installed Resolve 12. When I hit command F it goes semi full screen. I can still see my top bar from my mac screen. (the grey bar that has File, Edit, View, Date/Time, etc) This used to hide when I went into full screen. The screen is also not reaching the sides, nor is it showing me the scrub bar/ play button. It just appears to be resizing incorrectly, but Im assuming there is a way to correct this.
