track height, maybe suggestion?

PostThu Jan 14, 2016 4:17 am

whilst i'm very happy with the gui in edit page, i find one annoying feature (yes there are other quirks i don't like but...)

when i have 5 or more video tracks active i would like to be able to minimize SOME of them independently of others.

i realize i have the track view option with the 3 options, but they are all fixed options (?)

am i missing something - and if not, i would like to make this a suggest ;-)

If you click and drag in the area between the track name and the start of the timeline, you can adjust the height of each video and audio track independantly.

The top of the dark gray area is where the size handle is.

hi jack,

thanks for getting back.

i did know about grabbing at the header, but what i'm trying to achieve in order to get more work space is say use minimize view, and then be able to drag a track out to 'normal' view. or vice versa, pull down normal view to minimal view. there's really not a lot of saving using normal view and minimizing....

am i making sense?
